This is the second waterfall on the Mt. Timpanogos trail. That August we hiked there, like this one, was particularly rainy, and the waterfall had completely overrun its course, with rivulets pouring down every facet of the rock. My friend and I stood in the water, held out our hands as if we could possibly catch even a fraction of what was pouring down all around us, and laughed with surprise and delight at the sheer abundance this waterfall represented. Our cup definitely "runneth over" that day, and it felt like it was filling not just our cups, but our lives with abundance.
